Gallery The Illusions – a new art gallery in Lalmatia, Dhaka, started its journey with particular focus to promote the interest on beauty of paintings and their inner influence and strength towards our creativity and sensitivity. As an outcome of such effort, it is expected that the gallery will also contribute in creating an enabling environment for the artists both from formal and informal sectors of Bangladesh. The gallery has a nice green setup in a comparatively quiet environment, where both painters and painting lovers can meet and interact. An annual plan of organizing different events e.g. group/solo shows, experimental shows, art camps is there. Besides, in between own planned events, gallery is also available to hold shows of art/creative works of other likeminded institutes/individuals. Along with the works of renowned artists, Gallery The Illusions has a specific plan to facilitate the works of less known, however, talented artists. At least one group show of such artists will take place in each year.
